"The Legend of Dr. Cyrus Knight and the Haunted Carnival."

In the fall of 1865, a war weary medic returned from the bloody fields hospital of the Civil War to his home in Tennessee.

There he found his bride and the child he had never seen, butchered by out-law union soldiers.  Swearing revenge he went on a 25 year search for those responsible.  Selling his Tennessee estate to finance a traveling sideshow known as..."Dr. Knight's Carnival of the Unknown."  He used the carnival as a way to secretly enter the communities of the unsuspecting killers.  With each act of revenge, Dr. Knight's form of execution grew more cruel and more bizarre, often resorting to medical procedures he had performed during the war, and in the end disfiguring his enemies and sentencing them to a life as caged attractions in his freakish show.  Using a new form of energy, "electricity", the demented doctor invented a method that would steal his new victim's life force, leaving mindless zombies that would follow his every command.  The infamous Dr. Knight caught up with the final murderous soldier in 1890, condemning him to a life of slavery inside the "Dome of Death" capturing unsuspecting patrons for the doctor to use in his hideous experiments.  With every experiment, Dr. Knight grew stronger and less human, feeding on the essence of his many victims in his search for immortality.  Tales of Dr. Knights carnival traveled around the country, and the public and the bloody field hospitals seemed to have an endless fascination with his grotesque creations allowing him to feed his own endless hunger.  By the turn of the century, fame turned to suspicion as rumors of missing town folk grew.  Unwelcome in America and one step ahead of the law the carnival sailed off to Europe.  After 4 decades abroad, the troupe returned to the states at the end of the second world war finding that most of America had forgotten about Dr. Knight and his carnival. Only  the legend lived on through some of Hollywood's scariest characters who are not fictional, but screen versions of the doctors gruesome experiments. It's been over 130 years since Cyrus Knight lost his humanity, and while time has changed many things, one thing still remains....HIS HUNGER!!!  Dr. Knight still travels the country with his carnival, usually during the season when bizarre things are accepted, HALLOWEEN!.  So if your hair begins to stand on end and you feel a piercing  jolt from behind, you'll know that Dr. Knight's Haunted Carnival is in town and he has a new attraction........YOU!!!!!
